Great game. Full respect to Arsenal, they had a cracking second half.
As a Liverpool supporter it's not often I get over excited about other English teams, but I was cheering as much as if it had been Liverpool in that game.
Cheers Tristan, always nice to hear your opinion. I trust your judgement more than a certain other person
No, there is no drying line yet. I read somewhere that Kunos intends to introduce a more dynamic weather system in future builds... to the point that it can be raining at one end of the circuit and wet at the other.
Cant remember where I read it I'm afraid so I cant link to it.
I like the wet weather, it's well done and lots of fun, but I'm not entirely convinced about the grip levels either, especially at the front end. I do love the feel of the rear end squirming about in the puddles though.
As a first attempt it's pretty good though. It'll be interesting to see how Kunos develops the weather.
I'm interested to hear what Tristan has to say about the wet weather.
You whingers will always find something to moan about though, despite the fact that a simple fiddle with the sound sliders will solve the issue. In the time it took to come here and write a post you could have turned the skid slider down. Problem solved.
" In order to stop crashing to desktop ,try this : right click on netKar PRO_NT.exe and then compatibility and choose "run this program in compatibility mode -> windows vista (service pack 2). Also choose the "Disable visual themes" and "Disable dekstop composition".
Works with Win 7 64bit. Don't know about other O/S
To be fair..it doesn't give you wets until you are on the 5th click in the weather settings. You most certainly will have slicks on a damp track
Invisible walls... off the racing surface on the hillclimb I suppose is what you mean? I thought originally that you meant on the track...so I can live with that
I see people moaning about iRacings netcode, but it's by far the best I've come across. I'm more than happy racing very close to 300ms ping guys. As close as I'd race someone on a LAN.
I've also only ever suffered 3 phantom 4x hits in my entire time at iRacing, and they were all in the same race
Invisible walls are back? Not come across any yet myself, but it would help if you said where they are, preferably with a pic, so they can be reported in the bug forum.
Lots of CDT problems online, and no way to turn off auto clutch in the Vintage seem to be the main bugs reported so far.
Hmm, not sure what's going on there DWB, I cant remember the last time I locked the brakes in iRacing
I set my brake curve separately for each car and it's fine. I am using the Nixim mod in my pedals though, so i have to give it some serious force to get near to locking up really.
I can justify it because I'd rather spend good money on something I will use every day than spend very little on something that is gathering dust and hasn't been fired up for at least 18 months.
Driver animations would be great, but as they are only useful for replays I can live without them for the time being. Hardly a deal breaker (and they don't look that good in LFS anyway.. much prefer them in nkPro)
Brakes overheating... Does LFS have this? Its so long since I fired it up I cant remember.. I certainly don't remember it ever happening to me.
Clutch overheat.. Ok, you got me on this one. That's one plus in LFS' favour
Live tyre temps/wear... Riiight.. like that's realistic No thanks, I prefer it the way iRacing does it.
